Where do I begin! 2013 was a great year for my business! I know that I say this every year, but truly I am so blessed with great clients that my business continues to grow and thrive and I owe it all to them! I officially have been "Boston Photography" for just over 6 years, prior to that I worked as a photographer for another studio for a few years. Owning my business, following all of the legal business parameters (registrations, taxes, licenses, etc...), balancing my personal life of being a wife and a mother have definitely been challenging. With that said, I live my life for challenges. This year I have really learned more about business than ever before. In 2013, I invested in new equipment, new software, and of course my education as always (this is sooooo critical to me)! I strived to be more efficient with my time (still have much more to learn in this arena) and appreciative of all of my experiences. All in all, I have absolutely no complaints. My philosophy on business is still the same: provide the absolute best photography experience (I am not here to just take pictures!), amazing products, and hands down TAKE CARE OF MY CLIENTS AND FRIENDS! With this, I have been able to see a 83% growth in 2013, this is often unheard of! Numbers are great, but I want to know why....believe it or not, by degree I am a Marine Scientist! Don't worry I went back to school and always take classes to grow my "Artist-side" and properly capture you and your family! So you want to know my secret....not a secret at all! It is you!!! 76.77% of my business in 2013 was from.....drum roll please........Referrals! Yes it is great to have a Facebook presence, beautiful website, around town displays, on the top of the Google Search list (yes we have these too), but when your clients speak up and refer you to someone else, seriously it gives me goosebumps, a lump in my throat, and tears in my eyes! I am honored to be your photographer!-Thank you, Kellie
