Look who is now One!!!! {1st Birthday Portrait Session}

I love capturing kids of all ages!  One is such a special time.  At this point, children now have very well known likes and dislikes, are often on the move and very animated!  It is such a fun and amazing age.  My journey with this family started when Zara was in the womb :)  I captured her beautiful Mom's Maternity Session here our or studio and a year later I was lucky enough to capture this little beauty for her 1st birthday.  Families are included in every session I do and I always encourage the parents to join in...after all your children DO want you in the pictures.  I like to start our 1st birthday sessions with the entire family and then we spend time on capturing the little one's personality.  Our one year old sessions often end with a cake smash.  These are always interesting...some babies LOVE them and some babies don't...Zara was somewhere in between.  I hope to be privileged enough to continue to capture this gorgeous family as they grow!
