The night could not have been more perfect and beautiful for Max and Savannah. On June 13, 2014 Max asked Savannah to marry him at the very place they met. But long before he popped the question, Max planned out his proposal. He made the 8 hour journey (4 hours each way) to get the blessing of her parents, purchased the beautiful ring, called me to capture the entire thing, staged a story of why they were headed to the Omni Amelia Island Plantation and why they were taking an evening stroll on the beach.
But let's rewind to give you more of their story... Max was born in Rochester, NY where he spent his first 24 years. He spent a lot of time playing Minor League Hockey in Canada and decided to make a change in July 2012 and move to Fernandina Beach, staying on the Plantation property.
Savannah was born in Atlanta, GA but had been on family vacations to Fernandina Beach growing up. In 2012, she had just finished school and left for Germany. Upon her return to the States, in August of 2012, she deciding to travel back to Fernandina to stay with a friend on the Plantation property. This mutual friend introduced Max and Savannah and they have been together ever since.
The couple decided to make their first home together in Jax Beach early in 2013 with their two dogs Ginger and Kong.
So now you have it June 13, 2014, Max and Savannah decide to take the next step in their lives together as she said "Yes"! Congratulations to this beautiful couple!

Don Davies - So beautiful! What a lovely couple! I hope I can have my wedding on a Savannah Beach soon! My sister had hers there and she got some great ideas from https://www.visitsavannah.com/tybee-island-savannahs-beach on where to hold the party, wedding, and reception so I guess I won't be having a hard time having my dream wedding there!
